One of my favorite people in the world finally lost her battle to cancer this past Saturday.  Carol Nickels, wife of longtime KNCO swap shop host, Mike Nickels, passed away.  Carol will always be remembered for her kindness and Christian virtue.  She worked many years in downtown Grass Valley.  And, for me, she was my Minnesota Vikings buddy.  Sometimes I think we were the only Vikings fans left, but I loved sharing the love of football with her.  It’s a big loss for the KNCO family.  Though Mike has not been here on the air for a few years, we always think of him when Swap Shop starts, and when we think of him, we also have wondered how Carol is doing.  Well…she is now home with God after a job well done here on Earth.  I will let you know of memorial service plans as they become available.
