Democrat Mickey Harrington, running to represent Nevada and other counties in the State Senate in Sacramento, supports the rural fire tax that’s run into opposition by state Assemblyman Dan Logue and others.
Butte County resident Harrington says he’s aware of the opposition to the fire tax by Dan Logue, also a candidate for State Senate.

Harrington also backs the high-speed rail proposed to run in California. He says the project will add jobs to the state. Employment is the key issue for California, Harrington says.
