The drive thru clinic is part of the Nevada County Public Health Department’s Emergency Preparedness Program to test an alternative method of giving medications to the public quickly. The Team responded well to a concern that there was a shortage of doses. They were able to provide enough vaccinations for everyone in line. The cutoff was 12:30 PM. The Health Department is overwhelmed with the community response and wants to thank everyone who turned out this mornings exercise and demonstrating patience as the lines moved forward.
