An 1850s Grass Valley landmark will be getting some national attention, and the owner will be getting advice on how to improve business. The Holbrooke Hotel will be featured on an upcoming episode of ‘Hotel Impossible’ on the Travel Channel. Crews are in town doing some production work, and will be filming tomorrow (Friday). Bartender Monte Mitchell says it was kind of a crazy time for them to show up, but it should be worth it…
The show focuses on taking struggling hotels and revitalizing them. The production team is not divulging exactly what they are going to do to the hotel, but maintenence man Andrew Minor says so far, it all seems positive…
Film crews are expected to be in town through Tuesday. No word yet on when the Holbrooke episode of Hotel Impossible will air.
