That’s Beale Commander Colonel Phil Stewart, who was in Grass Valley today (Monday) to speak at a Chamber of Commerce luncheon. The MC-12 Liberty reportedly went down near Kandahar Air Field on Saturday. No apparent enemy activity was reported in the area at the time. Stewart says the cause is under investigation…
24 year-old Staff Sergeant Richard A. Dickson of Rancho Cordova was assigned to the 306th Intelligence Squadron, and 30 year-old Captain Reid Nishizuka of Kailua, Hawaii, was assigned to the 427th Reconnaissance Squadron. Flags are flying at half-staff at the State Capitol today in Sacramento.
