For many people from Nevada County the Fathers Day Nevada City Bicycle Classic is a time to come home.

That’s race director Duane Strawser who says the action begins at 1pm and is usually complete by about 6:30p.m. People come for the whole day or the just for the Men’s 90 minute main event that ends the day. Strawser says parking is available within a Quarter mile of the course.

The route for the Nevada City Bicycle Classic races is down Broad Street to Union Alley, up Commercial Street, to York to north pine and cottage street. Left onto Main Street then across East Broad to upper Broad Street.
