Portions of the downtown area of Grass Valley are going to be getting a face-lift of sorts. A number of organizations are coming together this Saturday to begin the prep work, and then the following Saturday to do some actual painting. Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce Co-CEO Robin Galvan-Davies say the “Paint the Town” event is a team effort. Building owners, The Chamber, the Grass Valley Downtown Association, the City of Grass Valley, and the Association of Contractors along with individual volunteers are working together.

The Contractors Association is washing and prepping buildings this Saturday. The Paint Party is Saturday May 17 from 8 AM to 3:00 PM. If you are interested in joining “Paint The Town” you can contact the Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce.
