A third defendant of a brutal Grass Valley home invasion robbery is accepting a plea agreement. Nevada County Assistant District Attorney Anna Ferguson says 18 year old Austin Michael Wallace , who was 17 at the time of the robbery and attack of a 73 year old Grass Valley man last December 6th, will be sentenced to 4 years in state prison.

Grass Valley Police arrested Wallace in May after serving a search warrant that uncovered numerous weapons, thousands of dollars in cash and illegal drugs.

Wallace is the third of five defendants to accept a plea agreement in the home invasion robbery. Ferguson says a fourth defendant is expected to accept a plea agreement next week.

Ferguson says a preliminary hearing is also set for Elliot Roberts, the 5th defendant in the home invasion robbery, on October 2 in Nevada County Superior Court.
