This week is Public Health Week and Donna Fry, who is Nevada County’s Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Coordinator, says the county has a huge number of health programs available.
There are also preventive programs in place, like a team-up between the Public Health Office and the CHP to make sure everyone has a car seat for their children. The Health Department also hosts a year-round immunization clinic.
For more information on programs, including immunizations and car seats, you can reach Donna Fry in her office at 265-1491.
