Briar Patch Co-op has announced the schedule for their May cooking classes, which celebrate healthy Asian cooking. Briar Patch’s Outreach Manager Hilary Dart says there’s a number of traditional Asian classes, as well as a handful of other western classes. Classes include Japanese sweets, Japanese root vegetable recipes, Macrobiotic spring rolls, and Korean bibembap.
Dart says instructors are community members who offer to teach classes in dishes they know well. Cooking classes at Briar Patch are hands-on and intimate.
You can learn more about classes or sign up by calling 272-5333 ext. 134, emailing classes@BriarPatch.Coop, or going online.
