The Nevada County Public Works Department will be doing work on streets in Lake of the Pines and Lake Wildwood during the summer, ultimately hoping to avoid a potentially messy situation…
Public Works Director Steve Castleberry says crews will be installing sewer release valves in the cleanout of the property line. Work will start in Lake of the Pines, and workers will be going down each street to replace the valves. Castleberry says residents probably won’t even notice they were there…
Castleberry says residents have gotten letters notifying them of the work. After crews are done in Lake of the Pines, they will move on to Lake Wildwood. Work should be completed there in a couple of months.
